Innisfree Daily Mild Sunblock: Skincare Review

When the weather turns scorching hot, protecting your skin from the sun’s harsh rays becomes more important than ever. Recently, while searching for a reliable sunblock in-store, I came across the Innisfree Daily Mild Sunblock. Drawn by its reputation for gentle yet effective sun protection, I decided to give it a try.

Innisfree, a well-known Korean skincare brand, is celebrated for its use of natural ingredients sourced from Jeju Island. Their Daily Mild Sunblock is designed to offer broad-spectrum protection while being suitable for everyday use, even on sensitive skin. The lightweight formula promises not only to shield the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays but also to provide a comfortable, non-greasy finish—perfect for those sweltering days when heavy products can feel overwhelming.  The product also boasts hydrating properties, ensuring that your skin stays moisturized and fresh throughout the day.

If you’re looking for a lightweight sunscreen that doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on your face, the Innisfree Daily Mild Sunblock might just be your new go-to. I’ve been using it for a while now, and here’s my honest take — the good, the not-so-good, and whether it’s worth the price.

My First Impressions...

From the first application, I noticed how easily it spreads and absorbs into my skin. There’s no greasy feeling, no thick residue — just a smooth finish that feels like I’m wearing nothing at all. It’s the kind of sunscreen you can comfortably wear every day, whether you’re staying indoors or heading out.

The Application...

One of my biggest struggles with sunscreen is the dreaded white cast. Luckily, Innisfree Daily Mild Sunblock leaves no chalky residue on my face. When I apply it, it absorbs well without leaving any greasy film. It feels almost like applying a light moisturizer rather than a sunscreen, which makes it comfortable to wear even in hot and humid weather. It blends seamlessly with my skin tone, making it perfect for both bare-face days and under-makeup use.

If you’re expecting a major brightening effect, this may not be the product for you — I personally didn’t notice any visible brightening after consistent use. But since my main goal is sun protection, I’m fine with that.

The packaging is simple and travel-friendly. The tube makes it easy to control the amount of product, and it’s compact enough to slip into my bag without taking up too much space. Minimalist and practical — just the way I like it.

The Price...

It’s on the pricier side (around ₱700–₱950), but for me, the comfort and ease of use make it worth it. I’d rather pay a little extra for a sunscreen that I’ll actually enjoy wearing every day than let a cheaper one sit untouched in my drawer.

Pros

      • Lightweight, non-greasy formula
      • Absorbs quickly into the skin
      • No white cast
      • Works well under makeup
      • Convenient travel-size packaging

⚠️Cons

      • Slightly pricey compared to other daily sunscreens
      • No visible brightening effect

Best For:

People who want a daily sunblock that’s comfortable, invisible on the skin, and easy to reapply.

My Final Thought...

Overall, if you want a sunscreen that feels light, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a white cast, this is worth considering — but keep in mind the higher price point.
