Silka Premium Whitening Papaya Lotion: Skincare Review

Papaya undoubtedly possesses skin-benefiting properties that are supported by research and cosmetic professionals.  Papain, an enzyme found in it, is in charge of skin whitening, dead skin exfoliation, and skin restoration as we age.  Papayas provide us with internal nourishment, enhance our health, and ease a number of common ailments.

Research indicates that even one small papaya has almost 300 times more vitamin C than the daily recommended amount, making it a great source of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes.  I've been searching for a lotion to help my dry skin, and happily, I came across Silka Premium Whitening Papaya Lotion on a grocery store shelf.

Silka claims that this is a brand-new, enhanced lotion that is made with papaya enzyme and a blend of vitamins that efficiently hydrate and enhance the complexion of the skin.  Vitamin B3 helps promote the formation of collagen, which keeps our skin tight, while the papaya enzyme helps remove dead skin cells and brighten our skin, giving us that lovely glow.  In addition, the lotion contains vitamin E, a natural antioxidant that helps shield skin from free radicals, and vitamin B5, which moisturizes dry skin and provides immediate relief.  VitaAbsorb Technology has been added to this product, and its non-greasy recipe aids in the skin's absorption of vital nutrients.  Additionally, it has SPF 30 and PA+++, which assist shield our skin from the damaging effects of UV radiation.

I was looking for lotion the other day because my skin is very dry since I do not like to apply lotion. I also searched for a lotion with SPF because I will be starting work soon and need to drive, and it is hot outside, and I do not want to get dark. Therefore, what I look for in a lotion is one that will protect me from radiation from the sun. So, when I saw this at the grocery store, I was pleased because it is substantial, and I can use it for a long time.

I've used Silka before but that's soap, so this is my first time using a lotion under this brand. The soap was fine because I've been using it since I was a kid, and I did notice that I became a bit fairer, so I have high expectations for this lotion since the soap helped lighten my skin.

I use this every time I go to work because I really need it, especially while I'm driving under the intense heat. I have noticed that it takes a while to be absorbed by the skin, perhaps because it contains sunblock ingredients. As for the whitening effect, I haven't noticed any changes; maybe prolonged use is required to see its effects. However, I haven't felt much difference as my skin tone seems to remain the same.

What I appreciate about this product is that it is economical as it is long-lasting; a small amount is sufficient for my body since it takes time to be absorbed, thus requiring thorough and prolonged spreading.

I think I could recommend this to people looking for a body lotion that can also act as a sunblock, but if you're looking for a whitening lotion, I'm not so sure if I can recommend it because I don't see the whitening effect on my skin right away. But overall, it's been okay because it's affordable and lasts a long time.
