Eye serum is one of the items I often forget to apply. Many artists in the beauty business that I have observed have a fondness for employing this type of product. I'm not sure why I'm not keen to use it, but I was recently exposed to the Akar Restore Eye Serum product through my beauty box subscription. Thus, I believe trying it will be worthwhile.

I honestly believed that this product, when I first saw it in my beauty box, was a facial serum. I am not a big fan of eye serums, as I have already indicated, therefore I can easily count the instances in which I have used one of them. Previously, I thought that moisturizing the area around my eyes was sufficient with moisturizers. Thus, this product's appearance convinced me that it could be time to start using this kind of skincare product.
I find the product's bottle to be really lovely and sophisticated. It's a small red container with a handy dropper that makes it simple to remove the substance from it. Even though the product is small—it only holds 10 milliliters—I can tell with certainty that it will last for a very long time because all that is needed is a tiny drop, which is more than enough to cover the area around our eyes. The fluid has an oily, slippery consistency when applied, like the color and texture of the cooking oil we use. Because the liquid may spill easily and get quite messy, we must be careful when releasing it into our palms.
The product's scent caught my attention as well. Personally, I find this to be unpleasant since it smells a lot like the cooking oil I use in my kitchen. Even though I probably understand why it smelled that way given the ingredients, but I still found the fragrance strange.
I noticed that my skin felt softer after using the product on my undereye area. I applied it in the evening before bed, but the main thing that bothered me about the product was the stinging and itching feeling that I had minutes after applying it. I initially believed that it may be my skin's initial reaction, but after using it five times, I decided to stop since the stinging feeling persisted and I could feel my undereye skin becoming irritated.
I've looked at the price of this product as well, and I believe it is too costly for regular consumers like myself—Php5700, or around $102 in US dollars, for a 10 ml eye serum. I can state that due of its cost and the way it affects my skin, I am unable to suggest it to everyone. Perhaps I will search for another eye serum after some time.
