La- Roche Posay Anthelios Melt In Milk Sunscreen: Skincare Review

The benefits of sunscreen have eluded me for a very long time. The purpose of sunscreen is to protect our skin from the sun's harmful rays. Although I am familiar with a variety of items, I have never used this one. I received another item in my Allure Beauty Box.

This Anthelios Melt In Milk Sunscreen, according to La-Roche Posay, is a velvety & fast-absorbing sunscreen product that leaves skin nourished & smooth. This SPF 100 sunscreen, winner of several awards, offers wide spectrum protection. Several dermatologists endorse it since it has been shown to be both safe and effective. For all skin types and tones, it offers a selection of sunscreens in various formulae in serum, primer, dry touch, lotion, and spray textures.

If used as instructed and in conjunction with other sun protection measures, Anthelios sunscreens' enhanced UVA/UVB protection and antioxidants help reduce the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging brought on by the sun.

Sunscreen has never been something I've enjoyed wearing. When I first tried it, the items I used were so heavy that they actually closed my pores. As a result, I largely shied away from that regimen and didn't buy any sunscreen. I didn't realize how crucial it was until I got a sunburn, which is why it took me years before I used it again. I had major facial burns. It turned red, dry, and painful to touch. I attempted to use moisturizer, but it had no effect. Then, my friend suggested that I try applying sunscreen.

It's wonderful that Allure Beauty Box gave me the opportunity to review this sunscreen. I gave it a try immediately away since I was having trouble with my face, and I'm pleased I did. I appreciated its high SPF since it genuinely made me feel protected from the heat and its potentially dangerous rays. I had plenty to cover my entire face for days even though it only had 5ml. I didn't feel greasy or heavy as I have with other products I've tried. The fact that the product contains milk may be the reason why it moisturized and smoothed my skin at the same time. It also made my skin fairer, which I liked.

This product gave my skin a dewy, bright appearance without causing any breakouts. It is also water resistant and fragrance-free. Moreover, antioxidants are present, protecting my skin from oxidative damage. It is ideal for someone with sensitive skin including myself because it is unscented and has no harsh ingredients.

Without a doubt, I'll buy this product again. I heartily urge anyone searching for an excellent sunscreen to use it.

My Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐⭐(4/5)
This product is suggested by the Skin Cancer Foundation as a useful sunscreen in the prevention of sun-induced skin damage, including sunburn and perhaps premature aging. This product may also help lower the possible risk of skin cancer brought on by excessive sun exposure when used often in the manner recommended. Senna Alata, an extract from a tropical leaf, works with Cell-ox Shield® Technology to provide photostable, broad-spectrum protection that fights skin-damaging free radicals that can hasten skin aging.

This product contains the well-known ingredient avobenzone. It is a unique snowflake since it is the only chemical sunscreen ingredient with enough UVA protection that is universally accessible. It is the most popular UVA sunscreen worldwide and the global benchmark for UVA protection. It offers peak protection at 360 nm and provides excellent protection over the whole UVA spectrum (310-400 nm, which includes UVA1 and UVA2). But, the fact that it breaks down in the sun and is not photostable is an issue. In just one hour in the sun, according to Wikipedia, avobenzone loses 36% of its ability to absorb UV rays. This is one of the reasons why sunscreen must be reapplied every few hours.

Avobenzone has a fairly excellent safety profile in terms of safety. Unlike some other chemical sunscreens, it is non-irritating and has no systemic toxicity. In the EU and the US, the maximum allowed avobenzone concentrations are 5% and 3%, respectively.
