Benefit POREfessional Agent Zero Shine Powder: Makeup Review

Is your skin oily or greasy like mine? Having oily or dewy skin may be fashionable these days courtesy to the invasion of Korea, but doing so in the summer or during a tropical climate can be annoying and uncomfortable. Oiliness may lead to breakouts, which I don't want to happen because I have really sensitive skin, so trying new products is risky for me. But when I was looking through Sephora's selection of cosmetics, this item caught my attention.

Benefit claims that Agent Zero Shine is a mattifying powder that rapidly blurs the appearance of visible pores and simply blitzes any signs of shine. When we need to control shine the most, this powder is employed covertly. The handy container has a built-in brush, making it perfect for touch-ups on-the-go.

Features
🌺Has a transparent, colorless formula
🌺Aids in immediately reducing shine and the appearance of pores
🌺Gives a matte, smooth finish.

How To Use:
Twist the base of the built-in brush off, tap powder into the lid, and then dip brush. To immediately mattify skin, sweep over makeup or moistened skin. Throughout the day, touch up your makeup.

Ingredients:
Talc, Nylon-12, Aqua (Water), Magnesium Myristate, Lauroyl Lysine, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Fruit Extract, Silica, Isoceteth-10, Ethylhexylglycerin, Aluminum Dimyristate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate. [+/-: CI 15850 (Red 6, Red 7, Red 7 Lake), CI 15985 (Yellow 6, Yellow 6 Lake), CI 19140 (Yellow 5, Yellow 5 Lake), CI 42090 (Blue 1 Lake), CI 45410 (Red 27, Red 27 Lake, Red 28 Lake), CI 73360 (Red 30, Red 30 Lake), CI 77007 (Ultramarines), CI 77163 (Bismuth Oxychloride), CI 77288 (Chromium Oxide Greens), CI 77289 (Chromium Hydroxide Green), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (Iron Oxides), CI 77510 (Ferric Ferrocyanide, Ferric Ammonium Ferrocyanide), CI 77742 (Manganese Violet), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide)]. N° 08064/A.

Since I don't need to reapply the powder throughout the day, it really works great for my oily skin. Additionally notable is the scent. I'm not sure how to express that. I also really like the color of the powder, which is another feature of this product. It makes me think that I came off as perfectly fair because of this.

The packaging is another aspect of this that I enjoy. The product comes in a lovely cardboard package, too! Unsure whether this is vital, but it definitely adds a little lovely touch to the, there is a door located on the front of the packaging that you can open to unveil a photo of The POREfessional character. The actual product is packaged in a small, tapered cylinder. There isn't really that much product in this; I believe it holds 0.24 oz / 6.8 g. The powder is in the top half, and the built-in brush is stored in the bottom half.

The only disadvantage is the exorbitant price. When I looked up the pricing in the Philippines, I found that just 7 grams of powder cost PHP1900, which is around what I spent, or about QR150.

It perfectly complements the brand name they gave the item. The majority of Filipinos are reasonable people, therefore I think they will think twice before buying this item given the expensive price for such a small amount of powder. Whatever the case, it is thought to be good to test, but given its cost, I will most definitely refrain from purchasing so. It is better to test out some affordable alternatives to the usual shine-controlling products.

I would strongly recommend it if you're looking for a powder to control oily skin, but be aware that it is pricey for such a small tube.

My Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐✨(3.5/5)
This essentially functions as a mattifying and pore-minimizing loose powder. Benefit advises using it to moistened skin or over makeup to eliminate shine right away. Although the powder has a light beige tint, it becomes undetectable when applied to skin. Theoretically, this ought should work for all skin tones because it obviously mixes in with yellow undertones without seeming overly light or ashy. It immediately loses its luster after use. For an even greater pore-perfecting result, use it with the POREfessional primer.

This product is only offered in one shade, a peachy one with transparent coverage. It shouldn't have a white cast and should match all skin tones. This will immediately melt over the skin, leaving a perfectly matte finish.
