Serumkind Purple Cabbage Drop: Skincare Review

I'm trying to supplement my skin care regimen with a product that contains a higher concentration of active chemicals than a cleanser or moisturizer, and according to the majority of the reviews I've read and seen, a face serum is the solution.

Perhaps as a result of age, my skin has gotten dry lately, therefore I need to look for a nice serum that can nourish my face. As someone who is always willing to try new products, I have tried a lot of serums in the past, but I am currently searching for something different. In the process, I came across a serum that I hadn't tried before but had forgotten to use because it had been tucked away in my cupboard among other skincare products. I was incredibly excited to try the Serumkind Purple Cabbage Drop after seeing it in one of my monthly boxes.

According to Serumkind, the product is composed of 63% of purple cabbage that is rich in anthocyanin and lysine that helps soothe sensitive skin. It is ideal for dry skin that needs extra care. It also brings back radiance to malnourished skin and calm irritations with beta-glucan, extracted from purple cabbage that was organically harvested in Jeju Island. Moreover, it offers a quick soothing effect and protection from external stimuli. It replenishes moisture levels on the dermis layer of the skin and strengthens the moisture barrier to prevent loss and keeps the skin hydrated and bouncy throughout the day.

Being a big fan of purple, I was both thrilled and taken aback because when I saw this product, I realized that this was the first purple-colored serum I had ever used. Though I haven't used the brand before, based on the packaging, I believe it has good standing and might deliver what buyers are hoping for. And since I have dry, itchy skin, I really had expectations since the brand said that this product would cater to those kinds of skin issues.

I anticipated the fluid to be thick and sticky based on its look, so when I applied it to my face, I was not shocked by how thick and sticky it felt at first. I just applied a small amount of the product to my fingers and gently rubbed it over my face. I used a drop of it, not much because I didn't want my skin to seem too greasy. It required some work on my part to extract some fluid from the product, as I found that the dropper scarcely takes any of the fluid. This might be because the fluid is really thick or the dropper is broken. Nevertheless, I made the decision to keep using it in the hopes that it would work wonders for my dry, irritated skin.

Due to its thick consistency, I have limited my usage to the evenings since I don't want to seem overly greasy throughout the day, especially on special occasions, and I don't want to wear makeup over it since I believe it would perform better that way. When I woke up, I saw that my skin had softened and that the flakiness had begun to lessen. I was still able to use it despite a few little bumps that occasionally surfaced, and ultimately, even the minor bumps vanished. My skin feels so overhydrated that I thought it was getting greasy, so I actually reapplied powder before I left the house. That worked for me, though, because my skin doesn't feel irritated at all and it let my morning makeup blend in effortlessly.

The subtle scent that this product leaves on my skin is something else I enjoy about it. I didn't sense the fluid's heaviness as it spread across my face since I was so engrossed in its aroma as I was gliding it on. My usage of the product is limited to the evening before bed, therefore it took me a while to finish it. Eventually, one drop turned into two, which was more than ample for my entire face. Considering the product's thickness, my skin absorbed it with ease.

With the exception of the product's color, I truly enjoy how moisturized my formerly dry and irritated skin become. I really believe that anyone searching for a serum to reduce skin irritation and dryness should try this one. You might get relief from those types of skin problems with this product.
