The Face Shop Rice Ceramide Moisturizing Toner: Skincare Review

I made the decision to purchase a new toner to replace the one I'm currently using in Qatar before leaving on vacation to the Philippines. I had to use this Rice Ceramide Moisturizing Toner as a last option because the Jeju Volcanic Toner I was using at the time was unavailable.

The Rice Ceramide Line, according to The Face Shop, is a fantastic beginner kit for skin moisturizer that includes both "Ceramide," a natural moisturizer, and rice washings, a traditional Korean beauty secret recipe for effects such as whitening, antioxidant protection, and anti-aging. It cleans the skin of any pollutants and residues that the cleanser may have left behind. This toner gently replenishes skin's natural moisture while gently constricting enlarged pores. It evens out skin tone and brightens complexion using rice extract to lessen the appearance of dark spots and freckles.

The components employed, including ceramide, rice bran oil, and extracts, are absorbable and provide the skin a smooth, rich feel. In addition to moisturizing and exfoliating dead skin cells, it can also lighten skin. The mixture creates a gentle, smooth liquid that can be applied to skin of any kind, decreases skin irritation, helps skin retain moisture, and acts as a barrier to protect skin, making it ideal for sensitive and typical skin.

I became quite interested in using this product after doing some research and reading other reviews. The toner felt like a hybrid of an emulsion and a toner when I used it for the first time. It felt heavy and thick, and after applying it to my skin, I felt as though I needed to add additional drops of solution. I believe it is insufficient to cover the entire face with only a few drops because it dries rapidly on cotton pads.

I also noticed that it smelled good, but not overpowering. At first, I was eager to use it and adored doing so, thinking I could do it every day. I was rather astonished when I realized that over the next three days, my skin wasn't becoming any softer. When I looked in the mirror, I couldn't see any pimples, but I could feel them on my cheeks and chin. Compared to previously, my face felt undeniably oilier or greasier. I made the decision to stop using this right immediately for that reason. My skin become irritated as a result. It may be ideal for people with dry skin, but it is not good for my skin type.

I won't recommend this to anyone who has oily or combo skin since it will make their oiliness worse. If I'm going to assess this based on my skin type and my experiences, I most definitely won't buy it again.

Anyway, even though I had negative results with this product, we all have different skin types, so what works for me may not work for you, and vice versa. To avoid irritation and unpleasant consequences, it is always good to read comments and reviews on every product that we will use on our skin and to continually consider our skin type and relate it to the items that we will use.
