Holika Holika Heart Crush Velvet Lipstick: Makeup Review

The salesperson at Holika Holika gave me a freebie when I made a purchase the previous time I went in to buy some cosmetics. She let me choose either eye liner or lipstick, and because I like lipstick, I chose it without hesitation. When I checked the lipstick they had given me after I got home, much to my surprise, it was Holika Holika Heart Crush Velvet Lipstick.

According to Holika Holika, this lipstick has a soft, creamy texture that easily glides on and adheres to the lips without caking or dryness. With the smooth texture, a beautiful, long-lasting lip expression may be achieved. It comes in a range of modern hues to offer you a stylish look that complements your unique personality. In only one swipe, this product will provide a fantastically vibrant lip color with a velvety but touch-proof finish. The lipstick has an airy mousse-like consistency that glides gently on lips and is made with oils from olives, almonds, and Argan. There are seven gorgeous shades to choose from.

It is a $0.06 oz. lipstick that costs $9. With only one application, it provides exceptional pigmentation and comes in a heart-shaped packaging. Even on dry lips, the formula and texture wear really well and wonderfully. The texture and formula have a more balmy matte feel.

The gift I received certainly surprised and took me off guard. Sincerely, I was quite happy with my choice because it was the first time I had gotten a full-sized freebie from a shop. With this product, I conducted a swatch and wear test.

I apologize for my oily skin, but let's get back to the topic at hand. I loved the color this lipstick provided my lips, even the fact that I couldn't determine what shade it was. Despite how creamy it was, I preferred the matte finish. It was so stunningly beautiful that I didn't even realize that I had dry lips when I applied it, and the lipstick stayed on my lips for approximately 6 hours before needing to be reapplied.

In essence, this lipstick is unexpectedly has a richer color than the description suggests, which causes it to appear deeper and more colorful than it actually is. This isn't the kind of lipstick you can just brush over your lips without seeing it; you'll need a mirror and a nice light for you to be able to see your reflection and this pigmentation because it may appear too colorful on the lips. So be prepared to blend it on your lips to get the desired result.

This product comes in such gorgeous packaging that it almost seems like a toy. I was really drawn to the product's heart-shaped case and tip. It feels light on the lips and has a trendy hue. I'm sure I'll buy it the next time in a different color. Anyone who loves lipsticks as much as I do should consider purchasing this item. It is really worth a try and will definitely made your lips and look colorful.
