Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream: Skincare Review

My favorite items are skincare products, followed by books. Due to the fact that I discovered new skincare products as a consequence of registering to subscription skincare beauty boxes like Allure Beauty Box and IPSY, I am quite happy for this. Even though Korean goods are my personal grail, trying out different brands has been good for my skin as well. The last time I opened my monthly package, a sample of Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream was included.

I received this item as part of my Allure Beauty Box membership. It is a sample-sized product with only 3ml of the luxurious cream. I have a lot of items in my cabinet that I have yet to use, and I’m not sure why I opted to try this one, but I’m glad I did. It’s a shame it’s just 3 mL.

I discovered this product online, and I must say that the original package is quite excellent. I have the sample size, so it’s far less complicated than the original product. Those of you who know me know that I typically have oily skin, but this summer, my skin became dry and flaky. It turned irritably red, giving me the appearance of a serious allergic reaction. Perhaps due to sun exposure, but it has resulted in dry skin on my face. So I went through my cupboard looking for a solution to my dilemma, and my mind chose to test this charming little product by Augustinus Bader. Actually, I am not familiar with the brand or the product, and because I am a bit adventurous, I always test the thing that I am unfamiliar with first.

Despite the fact that this is a sample product, a pea-sized amount covered my whole face. It was extremely simple to apply on my face. I’ve been using it for over 5 days now, every night, even though their website recommends using it twice a day (I’m concerned of growing oilier, so I chose to use it once daily), and I’ve noticed that my skin has become more moisturized and the irritation has decreased.

As you can see in my imperfect snapshot, my skin’s redness decreases immediately after use of the cream, and the oiliness that I am used to returns. But I liked that than the dry, flaking skin. I also observed the product’s mildness because it is not heavy on the face and has a very mild scent, which I noticed when sliding the cream across my face. Because this cream is so expensive, I was really disappointed that I could only have a sample. I did some research, and this item is worth $85 in total. Even if it is worth its price, it is far too pricey for me. Nevertheless, I had a great experience using this high-quality product.

I would suggest it to anyone with dry, itchy skin. Though it is more expensive, it will undoubtedly benefit your skin.
