Due to my sensitive skin and the fact that many of us experience various skin problems, including tanning, breakouts, uneven skin tone, bluntness, and so forth, I made sure that every product I used underwent extensive research. As a result of all of this, I began to genuinely love earth-based facial products, especially facial masks to use for various seasons because I have combination skin. Therefore, the great majority of my skin problems are probably caused by oiliness, which may be treated by products made of ingredients found in nature.
Buy The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask |
I have discovered this product namely, The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Mask because my closest friend gave thisone to me as an appreciation gift. It came as a mini bundle of different facial masks, but in this blog I will concentrate first on this one since it is the first product I have used from the bundle.
According to The Body Shop, charcoal is the black residue formed when we heat organic matter, like wood or bamboo. But technically speaking, in beauty products we use ‘activated charcoal’. This means it’s been treated, usually with steam, to increase its absorbency. So, if we look very closely it has a sponge like structure. This clever organic material acts like a blu-tack for dirt, so it’s incredibly useful if we want to cleanse and purify our skin.

How To Use
After removing makeup and cleansing the skin, use the Facial Mask Brush to smooth an even layer of the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask onto the face avoiding eye and lip area. Apply to neck and décolleté if desired. Leave for 5-10 minutes then rinse off with warm water and a muslin cloth in circular motions to gently exfoliate. Use 2 to 3 times a week. Use various masks in different areas to target specific areas of your face.

I like to use products made of plant extracts that have been grown naturally and with care. So I was quite enthusiastic about The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask, which is vegan and contains bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves, and natural tea tree oil. I have sensitive skin, which tends to be greasy in all weather conditions. But, as I’ve seen on my face, this is an excellent time to let this facial mask work its magic because my skin is neither very oily nor overly dry.
Bamboo charcoal helps the skin absorb minerals, making it more grounded and healthy. It also functions as a natural exfoliant, removing dead skin cells. Green tea has cancer-fighting compounds that improve the skin in a variety of ways and is also used to treat acne outbreaks. Tea tree oil has antibacterial, antifungal, and germicidal effects. It’s proven to help with skin irritation and disorders including psoriasis and dermatitis.
The Body Shop face mask resembles a quivering dirt veil and does not appear to be ideal for delicate skin. Despite how it appeared, I was still excited to try it out, so I ran a test on the back of my hand, and the results were fantastic. Then I ran a test on my jawline, and the results were much more impressive. I first used this mask on my entire face, avoiding my eyes, that same evening. The end effect was fantastic! You will experience a stinging feeling for a few minutes, which is not at all bothersome to me. It contains finely processed granules and a tannish green colored coating.
As you can see in my photos, this facial mask changes tone throughout application and feels like it is drying on your skin after a while. It has a fantastic consistency that is neither too thick nor too runny. It works well, consistently, and quickly. I usually wash it off for 15 minutes, during which time I observe that practically all of the portions are dry. The drying time ranges from 3 to 10 minutes, however it varies from person to person. In my experience, the product on my forehead dries quickly, while the other takes a little longer. The face mask firms and purifies my skin, removing impurities and providing a more even complexion. Since my skin becomes oversensitive and reacts badly to some goods, I had some red lumps on my cheeks, but with this item, the red bumps have lessened, but not vanished.
Furthermore, The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask has cured several skin irritations, evened out my complexion, and restored my face’s natural tone. As far as I can tell, this product may also be used as a scrub mask and to clean the skin at home instead of going to a beauty spa. Depending on my mood, I use it once or twice a week. It is not recommended that you apply this face mask frequently since it will generally maintain overproduction of oil and misuse may result in an excess, resulting in overdrying of the skin.
I will certainly purchase this product in the future. I also like to recommend it to those who have oily and combination skin like mine.
