I have this item from one of my membership boxes. I am not that familiar with its brand, so I am truly eager to utilize it. The packaging for this item is so muffled and basic. I also noticed that there is information on the back about the item having a distinct smell, so I am truly curious about what they mean by that. So I quickly opened it and attempted to smell the liquid from the tube. From the outset, I couldn’t smell anything, so I felt that perhaps the smell wasn’t as overpowering as what they claimed. After cleaning my face and putting my other skincare items included in my daily skincare routine, I quickly utilized this item since eye cream, gel, or mask is my last step before going to sleep.

From the start, I put the item on my wrist. I saw that it was somewhat runny with fairly charcoal-like particles. I figure it will be better assuming we will store it inside our fridge, so the texture won’t be that runny. I likewise felt that it tends to be a scrub simultaneously due to its somewhat rough texture felt while gliding it under our eyes due to those small particles. 

While applying this item, I began to smell its fragrance. I couldn’t describe the smell of it while gliding it under my eye, yet the smell was nauseating. It smells like old vinegar with various blended ingredients, which I couldn’t comprehend. I don’t have any idea what it smells like. I can simply say that it’s horrendous, causing me to feel like vomiting. I can clearly smell it regardless of whether I just put a modest quantity of it on my undereyes. Supposedly, we really need to leave the fluid under our eyes for 8–10 minutes, yet I can’t endure the smell, so after 5 minutes, I hastily washed it with warm water.

Though I didn’t appreciate the value of its smell, I felt the cooling sensation it gave on my undereye otherwise. I also noticed that my eyes looked less puffy and though the formula is flimsy, it is truly saturating. It doesn’t leave a dingy buildup. All things being equal, you get the sort of moisture that feels like it’s entered the skin without feeling weighty.

However, I’ve noticed the difference on my undereye. I still can’t accept the smell of this item, which is why I’m not using it regularly. It’s unusual, and it doesn’t smell great. So if I’m going to recommend this product to someone, I will definitely inform them about the smell of this item. In any case, it did a good job of reducing puffiness, but I can’t stand the smell. It is quite expensive with a price of $57, maybe because it is natural and kind of effective when it comes to combatting dark circles and puffy eyes, though I am not going to use it in the future because of its smell, which I cannot tolerate.
