I once used Gluta-C products, but I was unable to continue them since I had moved away for work and tried other Korean skincare brands. I just came upon this brand once more in Watson when searching for a trusted toner. Since I already knew about the brand and was simply seeking for an affordable one, I didn't think twice about buying and trying this. I was eager to utilize it and see whether they had made any changes to their product, so as soon as I got home, I started using it right away.

The container is transparent, so you can see what's inside right away, which is basically a clear liquid similar to water. The bottle only contains printed information about the product; there is nothing unusual there. It is convenient and lightweight, so bringing it along on a trip is not a problem.

Although the instructions state that we should use this one with cotton, I tried using my fingerpads to apply the toner because I'm accustomed to using fingerpads with Korean products and my cotton was already used up. At first it was a little messy, but I soon realized it was better since I could utilize all the fluid I put on my fingerpads and my skin could take it all in. Furthermore, I also observed before that when using cotton, the cotton has already absorbed over half of the fluid, causing it to not seep solely in the skin. As a result, rather the use of cotton, fingerpad is more beneficial to me and worthwhile since I wanted to use the product to its fullest.

Since the product smells so citrusy, I assume it contains as much vitamin C and kojic acid as the label claims. The scent has truly satisfied me. This product actually caught my eye at the perfect moment because I am now dealing with some breakouts, which is not particularly obvious unless you look at my skin closely. So I had high hopes and expectations from this.

I used this product for a week, however during that time my skin showed no signs of change. I simply try to relax and assume that perhaps my skin is just adapting at first, but after the second week, I started to see that my blemishes were getting lighter and that my skin was beginning to smooth out. I am anticipating dealing with additional breakouts because I had my period the week I started using this product, but I believe this toner truly helps. Only one pimple appeared on my skin, and the rest of my face continues to get brighter and smoother. I'm quite pleased with what I see in the mirror. I'm not sure how this product got my skin to improve so quickly; perhaps it was because my skin completely absorbed all of the ingredients, maximizing their effectiveness and because of that I was really impressed.

Since I don't use cotton balls and I also used it twice a day, the product lasted for me for less than a month, and I am extremely happy with the results on my face. I'm glad I utilized a product like this, and it's a lot cheaper than the other brands. I heartily suggest this product to anybody looking for a brightening toner who also wants something that would lessen acne. This one may definitely help, as it did for me. Without a doubt, I'll buy it again in the future.

This product also includes Scutellaria baicalensis, often known as Baikal skullcap, in addition to glutathione and kojic acid. It belongs to the family of flowering plants known as mint (Lamiaceae). In China, extracts from its roots have been utilized for thousands of years as a medicinal herb. Terpenes, volatile oils, and flavonoids are the main bioactive substances that may be isolated from the root. These substances have pharmacological effects that include antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and many more.

A highly effective tyrosinase inhibitor is also present in Scutellaria baicalensis root extract. Tyrosinase is a crucial enzyme in the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. Scutellaria baicalensis root extract may be able to lessen the aberrant pigmentation brought on by age and UV exposure by suppressing tyrosinase.

Acne may both be prevented and treated with it. Additionally, it serves as an effective sunscreen, skin whitener, anti-aging product, and other cosmetics. Currently, scutellaria baicalensis extract may be found in a wide range of cosmetic products from brands including Clinique, Whoo, Shiseido, Estee Lauder, Sulwhasoo and a lot more including Gluta- C.
