Purlisse Matcha Green Tea Antioxidant Priming Moisturizer: Makeup Review

You have no idea how much I like matcha, so when I received this product from IPSY knowing they already use matcha in their skincare, I was pleasantly surprised. I started searching for it since I didn't know what it could do and I wanted to know how it would benefit my skin.

According to the maker of this product, Purlisse Matcha Green Tea Antioxidant Priming Moisturizer, this light, oil-free hydrator quenches dehydrated skin while protecting against environmental deterioration. Matcha green tea, which is high in antioxidants, protects the skin, and white tea and vitamin E soothe and nourish it.

According to Healthline, matcha is a fantastic natural replacement due to its many antioxidants and other plant components. Matcha has a lot of chlorophyll, which gives it a bright green hue. It's intriguing to learn that chlorophyll may protect our skin from UV radiation and delay photoaging, which leaves us with less wrinkles and age spots. Chlorophyll also protects our skin from external irritants and substances that could clog our pores.

Never have I used a primer before. My friends told me that this cream is totally different from others as it just works to get the face ready for foundation or makeup. I was concerned that using moisturizer first might be too heavy for my skin, but they said I should still do so before applying primer and makeup. I tried it, and I'm really pleased with the results.

This product is perfect for my oily skin. My skin feels really smooth and nourished after using this product, and the aroma is quite soothing. I was initially afraid to use this product because my skin has been breaking out recently, but it is really calming and creamy and absorbs easily into my skin without triggering any breakouts.

The cream is thin, as you can see, and it absorbs easily even when I apply a lot of it to my skin. It also gave the skin a dewy appearance. I used this to prep my skin for face powder application, and all I can say is that it blended well and stayed on my skin longer. Since the powder did not move over my mask as it had when I had not applied this primer, I had the feeling that it effectively clung to my skin. Along with the advantages of blurred pores, it offers an excellent moisture balance.

I believe this product costs $45 but is well worth a shot. Without a doubt, I'll purchase it again in the future. It was fantastic, and I was really fortunate to receive it in my IPSY subscription box. It is something I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone with oily skin who wants to try a primer. This is a product that you will surely appreciate and adore even if you are not a fan of matcha at all.

My Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐⭐(4/5)
An all-in-one moisturizer and foundation primer is the Purlisse Matcha Green Tea Priming Moisturizer. Antioxidants like vitamin E are abundant in it, which moisturizes and guards against signs of aging. It is a very thin moisturizer that is oil-free. We may put it on top of makeup or by itself. It will prepare the skin for cosmetics so that our foundation will apply smoothly.

Along with matcha, green tea, and white tea, this product also has Aphanizomenon Flos-Aquae Extract in its crammed ingredient list. It is an extract from a rare blue-green algae that is said to have properties similar to those of retinoids without the negative side effects. This substance has the power to accelerate the process of cell regeneration, leaving the skin with a radiant overall appearance. New skin cells are pushed to the surface by sloughing off old ones in order to achieve this.
