The Face Shop’s Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Toner: Skincare Review

When you arrive home from a long day or if you are just too lazy to apply anything to your skin, following a skincare routine may seem like a nuisance. I used to be one of those, but I eventually realized how horrible it was for my skin. I've tried a few US brands, but I think Korean products are the best.

I'm eager to test every item from The Face Shop because it's one of my favorite Korean skincare brands. I recently learned how important toners are, therefore I made the decision to try a good one. I was intrigued by this and knew I wanted to give it a try.

The Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Toner from The Face Shop tightens pores, cares for our skin, leaving it soft without being greasy or oily, and contains Jeju Volcanic Ash. It features a city defender ingredient that shields our skin from fine city dust and is great for pore care. Volcanic ash from Jeju Island is a rare natural product that effectively absorbs sebum and clears the pores. It makes the skin clear and clean.

Volcanic ash particles are tiny and very porous, making them incredibly absorbent. They are not just found on Jeju Island. This means they're especially useful for eliminating the sticky oil and sebum that collect on our faces after a long and stressful day; similar to beauty products, they perform incredibly well for cleaning up liquids. It also suggests that the ash is helpful in eliminating any artificial things that may be on our faces, such pollution and excessive makeup, which results in acne, blackheads, and other skin issues.

reaction
I had a mild cooling sensation every time I used this toner and a cotton pad to clean my face. I observed that, in contrast to before, my skin became brighter and less oily. My skin also became better and healthier.

This product's packaging is also top-notch, and even after several drops, the bottle won't easily break. With a handy pump dispenser, the toner is packaged in a good, durable bottle. Be cautious to shake the container well before each use because there is some apparent sediments at the bottom. I think the toner is quite mild because it only slightly tingles and calms my skin.

Since I had previously cleaned my face before using the toner, there was no apparent dirt on the cotton pad after usage, but I could still feel that my skin was fresher, firmer, less oily, and more soothed. It feels incredibly light on my skin, with a pleasant texture that I want to feel every time I touch my face. I didn't know volcanic ash could be good for the skin, but after trying this product, I fell in love with it.

Even while I still occasionally experience acne, I've found that it only appears when my period approaches. Additionally, I've found that when I put makeup on my skin, it makes it seem better overall; it's almost as if the makeup just melts onto the skin.

I'll recommend this product to individuals with acne and irritated skin, as well as those who have oily-combination skin. This one will be really helpful.

My Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐⭐(4/5)
------------------------------
Jeju, a verdant volcanic island off the coast of South Korea, is a beauty haven. For nearly 5,000 years, Jeju's volcano has been dormant. But the lava that was ejected during those volcanic eruptions was extremely hot and spread widely over the landscape. Mineral-rich skincare dynamos emerge from the clusters. Surprisingly, Jeju's appeal as a travel destination and abundance of skincare products go hand in hand.

What makes the volcanic ash from Jeju so potent when applied on the face?

🌺Suitable for all skin types. While the majority of volcanic ash products are ideal for combination to oily skin types, they can also be helpful for dry skin types. Volcanic ash and moisturizers work together to hydrate the skin and nurture it.
🌺Acne treatment. The efficacy of volcanic ash clay to stop acne and pimples is well-known. Excess oil is absorbed by the ash without the skin being very dry. The moisturizing qualities of some volcanic ash used to beauty products keep your skin moistened all day.
🌺Reduce the size of the pores. Products containing volcanic clay ash treat blocked pores. It reduces the size of open pores to cure them. Additionally, it deters the accumulation of dust and grime, preventing pore blockage. Pores that are less congested are less likely to cause breakouts and blemishes.

Important points:
🌺The key part of volcanic ash face masks and other topical applications is bentonite clay, which is the most common byproduct of volcanic ash.
🌺Volcanic ash is an antibacterial exfoliator that may be used to clear the skin, while bentonite clay may be used to cure dermatitis, shield the skin's barrier from toxins, and shield the skin from ultraviolet radiation.
🌺Volcanic ash is used in a variety of product formulae, including face cleansers, masks, and exfoliants.
